MRI Technologist | WIP | Day Shift | Newark Campus

About the role

This position comes with a $7,500.00 sign on bonus for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures as defined by departmental protocols
• Performs duties in RIS, HIS, and Intergy computer systems and accurately enter patient data
• Completes transmission of optimum quality images to PACS system
• Affirms adequate history of patient is obtained and documented
• Ensures adequate history of patient is obtained and documented
• Performs QC and is able to digitize films
• Provides superior customer service to patients, family members, and all members of the health care team
• Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors
• Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to [neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients], including knowledge of growth and development, the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs, and provide the care needed

Requirements

• Completion of ARRT registry required
• Completion of a 2 year associates degree program in Radiology
• 2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
• Experience with Siemens products preferred

Pay

This position pays between $42.00 to $48.00 per hour.
