Primary Responsibilities
- Independently operate MRI equipment and perform MRI exams to produce high-quality images
- Correctly and efficiently position patients for imaging
- Provide clear and detailed information regarding the procedure and care to patients
- Complete appropriate documentation and obtain interpretation for each exam
- Adhere to MRI safety protocols in order to ensure safety to patients and staff
- Manage patient priority and act as a first responder when needed
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- ARRT (MR) required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- 1-2 years with magnetic resonance experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Strong verbal/written communication
- Exemplary patient care & customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
Additional Differential And Bonus Information
- Saturdays offer an additional differential of 15% of base wage per hour
- Sundays offer an additional differential of 20% of base wage per hour
- Cumulative weekend shift bonuses of up to $1,500 per quarter are also offered
