About the Role
The Advanced MRI Technologist operates MRI imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. This role emphasizes technical proficiency, patient care, and effective communication with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment and software to acquire diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Follow detailed instructions and maintain high imaging standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with clinical experience.
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification and BLS certification.
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking.
- Capability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
