MRI Technologist - Weekend

About the Role

The Advanced MRI Technologist operates MRI imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. This role emphasizes technical proficiency, patient care, and effective communication with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and software to acquire diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Follow detailed instructions and maintain high imaging standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with clinical experience.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification and BLS certification.
• Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Capability to reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
