MRI Technologist Traveler Team

About the role

This role involves performing MRI exams while maintaining ARRT or ARMRIT certification, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to department protocols.

Responsibilities

• Proper patient identification, preparation, and education to ensure comfort and safety.
• Operating MRI equipment, reviewing image quality, and maintaining safety standards.
• Assisting and instructing students and colleagues in exam procedures and protocols.
• Completing accurate documentation, managing equipment, and following quality control procedures.

Requirements

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification; BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of MRI technologist experience in a trauma hospital preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, and MRI safety.
• Strong communication, teamwork, task prioritization, and independent work skills.

Physical requirements

• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift and assist patients.
• Prolonged standing or stationary positions.
