MRI Technologist (PRN - Day & Evening Shift) - Memorial Hospital (Shiloh, IL)

BJC HealthCare System is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist for Memorial Hospital in Shiloh, IL. This is a PRN (as-needed) position with rotating shifts. No call or overnight shifts required.

About the Role

Memorial Hospital Shiloh is a 94-bed, all-private suite hospital recognized with Magnet status for nursing excellence. The MRI Department uses the latest technology to provide quality imaging and angiography for inpatients and outpatients. Memorial Hospital Belleville, part of the same system, offers a full range of medical, surgical, and emergency services, including pediatric care, heart and vascular care, and is accredited as a Chest Pain Center, Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, and Lung Cancer Screening Center.

This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in advanced modalities such as MRI, with a focus on quality control and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Performs studies independently, including in on-call situations, portable exams, and at other sites as required.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: MR, CT, RT, X-ray, Radiology, Medical Imaging, ARRT, BD, CI, N, VI, ASRT, Radiologic Technologist, Radiographer, MRI Graduate, magnetic resonance imaging, ARMRIT, Special Procedures Technologist, Interventional Procedures Technologist, IR Tech, Vascular Interventional Radiographer (VI), Advanced Modality Technologist (AMT), or CAT Scan Technologist.

Preferred Qualifications

• Less than 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Intravenous Therapy.
