MRI Technologist PRN
Job Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician. MRI Technologists are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
What you will do in this role
- Facilitate the operations of the MRI department.
- Assist the MRI Supervisor with the day-to-day operation of the department, balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement, and exceptional care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
- Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
Qualifications
- BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program (ARRT-RT(R), ARRTRT-MR, MRT, ARMRIT)
- Two years of experience preferred
