MRI Technologist PRN

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN MRI Technologist to join Parkridge Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services.

The MRI Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic and therapeutic environment. This role assists the MRI Supervisor with day-to-day department operations while balancing budgetary constraints, equipment, personnel needs, and quality improvement for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

You will demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan and assess patient data to meet age-specific needs. Compassionate, holistic care is provided while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Assist the MRI Supervisor with daily department operations, including budget management, equipment, and personnel needs.
• Deliver high-quality, age-specific care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Assess patient data reflective of age-specific requirements.
• Provide compassionate, holistic care while upholding patient rights and dignity.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program (ARRT-MR).
• Current ARRT-MR registration or registry-eligible (must obtain registration within 6 months).
• Current ARRT-R registration or registry-eligible.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• One year of experience preferred.
