About the role
We are seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to join HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. This position is ideal for those passionate about creating positive patient interactions and who are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans and related duties on the GE 1.5 and 0.2 Profile magnets.
- Obtain images used by physicians for diagnosing various pathologies.
- Establish and execute scan protocols.
- Maintain knowledge and practice of MRI safety techniques.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved School of Diagnostic Technology.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Registered with ARRT (R) at hire.
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) through ARRT at hire or within 12 months of hire.
- 3 years of experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of HCA Florida Osceola Hospital.
- Support Osceola Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Skills
- Knowledge of MRI safety techniques.
