MRI technologist - PRN
About the role
This position is responsible for the acquisition of MRI scans of patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes, utilizing advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording and analysis systems. Provides optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population.
Responsibilities
- Administers CT ionizing radiation to humans (age infant through adult) for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, which utilize advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems.
- Provides optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population.
Qualifications
- Experience as a CT and/or MRI Technologist preferred.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- If working in North Dakota, must have current Radiographer license along with conditional or active Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist registry on North Dakota Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.
