MRI Technologist - PRN

Role: MRI Technologist (PRN) responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining image quality. Key Duties Prepare patients by assessing needs, providing education, and reviewing safety procedures.Operate MRI scanner, acquire and reconstruct images, and perform quality control.Administer contrast injections using IV skills and proper equipment, adhering to safety protocols.Review images for quality, document procedures, and ensure accurate billing.Assist in research and instruct students on clinical MRI skills.Practice safety measures, adhere to ethical standards, and follow internal controls. Qualifications & Skills Associates degree or accredited radiologic health science program graduate.ARRTR or ARMRIT certification.At least two years of recent MRI technologist experience.Valid BLS certification.Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and resource management skills. Physical & Environmental Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, perform physical activities such as bending and reaching, and work in a hospital setting with moderate noise. Must meet visual and physical requirements necessary to operate equipment and assist patients.
