MRI Technologist - Per Diem
Description
The technologist is responsible for performing all MRI/MRA procedures including those utilizing injected contrast agents. The technologist selects proper technical factors and coils. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.
What You Will Do
- Perform all MRI/MRA procedures
- Utilize hospital EMR and Radiology PACS with accuracy
- Affords patients to determine ability to undergo ordered procedure
- Accept additional assignments and tasks
- Provide MRI co PD position to include on call duties, evenings, Mon thru Frid 1730-2400, Weekends 0700-2400. Commitment of 1 weekend a month minimum. May include day shift occasionally for PTO coverage.
- Coverage after hours, weekends and holidays participating in “ON-CALL” rotation
- Supports Mission and Values of Saint Francis Hospital
Minimum Qualifications
- ARRT with MRI certification required or ARMRIT
- Delaware license in Radiology Technology required
- BLS required
