Schedule
- On call duties, evenings: Monday through Friday 17:30–24:00
- Weekends: 07:00–24:00
- Minimum commitment of 1 weekend per month
- May include occasional day shifts for PTO coverage
- Coverage after hours, weekends, and holidays participating in “on-call” rotation
About the Role
The technologist is responsible for performing all MRI/MRA procedures including those utilizing injected contrast agents. The technologist selects proper technical factors and coils, demonstrates independent judgment when performing procedures and addressing difficult or unusual situations, and evaluates images for technical quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform all MRI/MRA procedures
- Utilize hospital EMR and Radiology PACS with accuracy
- Assess patients to determine ability to undergo ordered procedure
- Accept additional assignments and tasks
- Provide MRI coverage as described in the schedule
- Support the Mission and Values of Saint Francis Hospital
Requirements
- ARRT with MRI certification required or ARMRIT
- Delaware license in Radiology Technology required
- BLS certification required
