MRI TECHNOLOGIST - PART TIME - JEANES HOSPITAL

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists.
• Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.
• Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate.
• Positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
• Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.

Requirements

• American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Non‑Degree program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program.
• 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist required.
• 1 year experience in CT or MRI preferred.
• Registered Technologist (R) license required.
• Registered Technologist (MR) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
