MRI Technologist - Part Time Evenings

Role: Diagnostic MRI Technologist responsible for performing MRI exams using appropriate imaging equipment, verifying patient identity, reviewing medical records, and assessing risk factors. Responsibilities: Explains procedures to patients, sets up equipment, acquires images, reviews and documents images, and communicates findings to radiologists. Recognizes and responds to medical emergencies, provides post-care instructions, and participates in quality improvement activities such as patient flow and satisfaction initiatives. Offers imaging education to residents, students, and new staff. May take call or standby as required. Qualifications: Registered by ARRT in Radiology (R) or MRI (MR) or ARMRIT, with at least one year of radiologic technologist experience. Must complete AHA BLS training by end of orientation. Skills: Knowledge of MRI procedures, patient assessment, emergency response, and process improvement, along with excellent communication and teaching abilities.
