About the role

This position involves operating MRI equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic films are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment and ensure quality control
  • Provide requested films of high diagnostic quality based on each case
  • Interact effectively and professionally with patients, referring physicians, and other employees
  • Maintain optimal patient flow and throughput

Requirements

  • Physical dexterity and strength to operate MRI equipment and handle patient materials
  • Conceptual ability to determine appropriate study methods based on case specifics
  • Interpersonal skills to handle patients under stress and communicate with various professionals
  • Organizational skills necessary for the position
  • Analytical skills for compiling and interpreting data
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in providing patient care and performing exams according to governing bodies and RIMI protocols
  • Bilingual (Spanish/Portuguese) preferred but not required

Qualifications

  • ARRT registration and MR certification
  • Four years of IV experience

Pay

Competitive pay prorated based on core hours.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday 3:30 PM-9:00 PM and Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM at our Lincoln, RI clinical site.
