MRI Technologist (Part-Time)

Role Overview Seeking a MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a surgical and interventional MRI environment, primarily on Siemens MRI machines. The position involves supporting advanced modalities such as interventional and surgical MRI cases, providing critical imaging in an operating room setting. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, executing studies independently, and adapting to various work scenarios, including portable exams and on-call situations. Qualifications Associate degree or higher in a related fieldCertification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR, with ARMRIT or ARRT credentialsPreferred experience in MRI and OR settings; MRI technologists are encouraged to applyLicenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI), RT, CT, MR, among others, are advantageous Key Skills Knowledge of advanced imaging modalitiesAbility to work independently and in surgical environmentsExcellent patient preparation and equipment handling skills Additional Information: No call responsibilities, day shift of 3 days per week with 12-hour shifts, and comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, tuition assistance, and paid time off.
