MRI Technologist - Night Shift - Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Time MR Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in a leading academic medical center. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, independently conducting studies (including on-call and portable exams), ensuring quality control, and performing advanced imaging modalities with cutting-edge technology. You will collaborate with top medical professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and imaging equipment for MRI procedures
• Independently conduct MRI studies, including on-call and portable exams
• Perform quality control checks on imaging results
• Operate advanced imaging modalities and cutting-edge technology
• Collaborate with medical professionals to support diagnostic processes

Requirements

• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
• Associate's degree or trade school equivalency in radiography or related field

Skills

• Prior experience in MRI, CT, radiology, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory)
• CPR certification (advantageous)
• IV therapy certification (advantageous)
