About the role
As an MRI Technologist II, you will plan, coordinate, supervise, and carry out the activities of the MRI area. Work is performed independently in a professional manner with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competency in all neuro, body, MSK, and MR Angiography scans (except Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI).
- Perform competently on all scanners at all THS facilities.
- Demonstrate competency in the use of a pressure injector.
- Demonstrate competency in the use of MRI-compatible patient monitoring systems and medication pumps.
- Perform Breast MRI competently.
- Use DynaCad for Breast and Prostate MRI.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology Program.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
- Minimum of one year of experience in the MR field.
- A.R.R.T. Registered MRI Technologist.
Qualifications
- Technical or vocational school plus up to 2 years of specialty training.
- One year of related experience.
- Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
Licenses and Certifications
- Healthcare Provider (CPR).
- Radiologic Technologist certification.
