MRI Technologist - MRI (16 Hours Weekends)

About the role

As an MRI Technologist II, you will plan, coordinate, supervise, and carry out the activities of the MRI area. Work is performed independently in a professional manner with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency in all neuro, body, MSK, and MR Angiography scans (except Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI).
• Perform competently on all scanners at all THS facilities.
• Demonstrate competency in the use of a pressure injector.
• Demonstrate competency in the use of MRI-compatible patient monitoring systems and medication pumps.
• Perform Breast MRI competently.
• Use DynaCad for Breast and Prostate MRI.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
• Minimum of one year of experience in the MR field.
• A.R.R.T. Registered MRI Technologist.

Qualifications

• Technical or vocational school plus up to 2 years of specialty training.
• One year of related experience.
• Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Licenses and Certifications

• Healthcare Provider (CPR).
• Radiologic Technologist certification.
