Location: Swedish Hospital
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
What You Will Do
- Oversee daily MRI department operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, imaging quality standards, and efficient patient workflow.
- Provide technical expertise, training, and mentorship to MRI technologists, while collaborating with physicians and staff to optimize imaging procedures and patient care.
- Monitor and update MR Work Queue daily, including vetting patients’ implants.
- Multitask by assisting technologists and physicians with specialized scheduling.
- Perform MRI exams as needed for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with patients for exams when needed: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure their comfort.
- Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality.
- Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed.
Requirements
- License: ARRT-MR
- Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
- Certification: CPR required
- Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience required
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
