Key Duties Include
- Maintaining ARRT or ARMRIT certification and adhering to safety and quality protocols.
- Preparing patients, verifying orders, and providing patient education and comfort.
- Performing scans, reviewing images for clarity, and operating MRI equipment.
- Assisting in training students and other technologists.
- Following infection control, safety standards, and documentation procedures.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Certification from ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or cross-trained in MRI.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- IV competency within 30 days of hire.
- Knowledge of anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, and emergency response.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication and task prioritization skills.
Physical Requirements Include
- Visual and manual dexterity, ability to lift and move patients and equipment.
- Standing, walking, and navigating busy clinical environments.
