Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards, accreditation requirements, and departmental policies
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, training, onboarding, and performance support
- Perform high-quality MRI procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues in collaboration with service vendors and leadership
- Monitor image quality and ensure adherence to established protocols
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction goals
- Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and referring providers to optimize patient care
- Perform routine to complex magnetic resonance procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner
- Ensure services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Serve as part of the imaging center team and seek as well as provide feedback for improved clinical practice
Requirements
- Minimum associate's degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program
- Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT
- MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers; non-IDTF centers require MR advanced registry within the first 12 months of employment
- Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice
