MRI Technologist - FT - Days - Imaging - MRI @ MV

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI exams, ensuring accurate positioning and protocol compliance.
• Provide patient care consistent with MRI safety and comfort standards.
• Screen patients and staff for MRI safety in accordance with departmental policy.
• Enforce Zone safety compliance.
• Develop proficiency with MRI workflow, scanner operation, and contrast administration.
• Demonstrate and maintain competency in all assigned equipment and procedures at this level.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a licensed Radiologic Technologist or 0+ years with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT license.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or MRI program.
• Complete required CEUs to maintain certification and licensure.
• Licenses/Certification Requirements:
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required upon hire.
  • Technologists cross training into MR must obtain ARRT (MR) within 12 months of position acceptance.
  • Venipuncture certification required.
  • BLS.

• Ages of Patients Served - This position is responsible for the assessment, treatment and care of patients of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
