MRI Technologist Float

Responsibilities

• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures, selecting appropriate technical parameters
• Performing patient screening, scheduling, and educational activities
• Entering and monitoring patient data, transferring images to PACS
• Administering contrast media or medications within scope and regulations
• Ensuring high-quality images with correct markers and data submission
• Maintaining equipment functionality and reporting issues
• Keeping the department clean and organized
• Performing other assigned duties and adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology or MRI program
• One year of direct experience
• Credentialing from ARMRIT, ARRT, or equivalent within 12 months of hire
• Physical ability for constant standing, lifting, reaching, and patient handling
• Current BLS certification
