MRI Technologist - Evening Shift

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. Responsibilities Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while respecting confidentiality.Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and manage data transfer and storage.Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying MRI safety principles to minimize risks.Assist licensed practitioners with MRI interventions, select appropriate pulse sequences, and participate in MRI safety processes. Qualifications & Skills Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.Educational requirements include graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a bachelor's degree is preferred.Strong knowledge of MRI safety, technical procedures, and patient care standards. Key Duties: Performing MRI procedures, ensuring safety and quality, administering medications, evaluating images, and supporting clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
