Role Overview
As an MRI Technologist, you will perform diagnostic MRI exams using specialized equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging results in collaboration with radiologists and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain ARRT or ARMRIT certification and ensure competency in all clinical and technical functions.
- Prepare patients, verify identity and orders, and perform MRI exams per protocol.
- Review images for quality and accuracy, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Assist and educate patients, ensuring comfort and addressing concerns.
- Operate equipment, keep accurate records, and follow protocols for coding, quality control, and safety.
- Support team training and maintain infection control practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or cross-trained ARRT(R) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- IV competency within 30 days of hire.
- Knowledge of anatomy, imaging, equipment operation, and MRI safety.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and task prioritization skills.
- Physical ability to assist with patient transfer, equipment operation, and prolonged standing.
