About the role
The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations following physician orders, using advanced MRI equipment to produce high-quality images tailored to patient needs. This full-time, day-shift position involves utilizing technical knowledge to optimize imaging techniques while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans accurately based on physician directives
- Adjust imaging parameters for optimal results
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
Requirements
- Relevant education and Oregon MRI license or temporary license
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within six months
- BLS certification
- New graduates must obtain a permanent license within six months
