- Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
- Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
- Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
- Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
- Perform scan in accordance to center’s protocol.
- Administer intravenous contrast.
- Complete all forms pertaining to patient’s exam.
- Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
- Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
- Forward data and or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
- Aid clerical staff as circumstances arise.
- Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
- Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.
Prior MRI scanning experience is required.
Necessary requirements include MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications, and fantastic interpersonal skills. ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations.
Sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time.
Absorb and assist patients with mobility difficulties.
Some inpatient locations may require employee’s to participate in a call schedule/rotation.
To push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.

Pay and Benefits
Pay range for this position is $40-$60/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
