MRI Technologist

Position Details

Part-time, Washington, Monday and Tuesday 9:45 AM-10:15 PM with one day of call
Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support up to $20,000.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours.

Experience

No experience required.

Licensure

State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Certification/Registration

• ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility)
• BLS within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and using imaging software to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Skilled in effectively communicating with patients, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing emotional support
• Ability to communicate and work effectively within a healthcare team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
