MRI Technologist

About the role

The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations based on physician orders, using advanced MRI equipment while considering patient-specific needs to produce high-quality images.

Responsibilities

• Apply imaging techniques to obtain diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Maintain equipment standards and functionality

Requirements

• Relevant education in MRI technology
• Oregon MRI Technologist license or temporary license
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) within six months of hire
