About the role
Perform MRI procedures, including setup, scanning, and filming.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with radiologists, physicians, patients, and families
- Perform quality control and reporting
- Maintain schedules
- Assist radiologists
- Handle medications within scope of practice
- Start IVs
- Contribute to department efficiency and patient care
- Take call
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved radiographic program
- Valid Washington Radiologic Technologist license
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- Obtain MRI-specific registration within one year
Preferred Skills
- 1+ year in diagnostic x-ray
- Hospital experience
- 2+ years in MRI subspecialty
