MRI Technologist and Senior MRI Technologist

About the role

The MRI Registered Radiologic Technologist and Senior MRI Registered Radiologic Technologist roles are combined in this posting. Both positions require MSRT education and experience as outlined. Consideration for either role will be based on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide services timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department.
• Perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Diagnostic Imaging Department’s Policies and Procedures.
• Assist in assigned administrative tasks.
• Maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.
• Functions as an expert user and may precept new staff.

Requirements

Required Qualifications for both roles:

• Education required to receive MSRT.
• Upon hire: Montana Radiologic Technologist, National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
• BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications for Senior MRI Technologist:

• 4 years of experience as MRI technologist.
