Job Summary and Qualifications
All positions at Medical City Las Colinas are part of an interdisciplinary team, and, as such, participate in the care and service delivery process through effective interaction with other team members.
What you will do in this role
- Performs superior/quality MRI procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist to patients of all ages
- Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring.
- Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities
- Responsible for accurate and timely completion of MRI procedures. (OP, Inpatient, OR, ED)
- Ensures patients and family are properly informed of the procedures and patient comfort is maximized.
- Other duties as assigned by the Lead Technologist, Supervisor, Manager or Director of Imaging.
What qualifications you will need
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- Associate Degree
- 2 years experience Required
