About the role
Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner
- Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program or graduate of a military Radiologic imaging program or documented equivalency. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years preferred.
Certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) and/or ARRT (R) and documentation of MRI training required. Must obtain MRI Registry credential (ARRT or ARMRIT) within 1 year of hire. AHA BLS required. State license if required. ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) Credential preferred.
