MRI Tech

Department: Imaging • Facility: Prime Healthcare Medical Group • Location: 1325 N Highland Ave, Aurora, IL • Schedule: Monday–Friday • Employment Status: Full Time • Shift: Variable

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of MR imaging in accordance with established procedures and policies for diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients of all age groups.
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions.
• Maintain professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined by department expectations and professional organizations.
• Access pertinent patient information, process images, ensure correct images, accurate billing, and proper file documentation.
• Record information related to exams into the department computer system.
• Support clinical team members with other activities when not engaged in imaging.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) certification required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain currency.
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI course.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist (preferred).
• Proficient computer skills.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $38.38 to $56.00 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
