About the role

Grand Strand Medical Center is seeking an MRI Tech to join their team. Founded in 1978, the hospital is a leading acute care facility offering a wide range of services including cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and advanced imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures under the supervision of a radiologist
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations
• Accurately position patients and operate MRI equipment
• Document patient information and results accurately
• Adhere to infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT-MR certification or equivalent
• BLS certification required, must obtain within 30 days of employment

Qualifications

• Experience in MRI technology is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for providing high-quality patient care
