About the Role
Asante's imaging experts are highly trained, exceeding state requirements with advanced certifications in MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and bone density scanning. Our imaging program is supervised by a board-certified radiologist who works directly with technicians at the hospital to interpret test results and offer guidance on complex cases.
MRI Techs perform diagnostic imaging studies as directed, operate MRI equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images, perform all diagnostic procedures per department protocols, and ensure patient and visitor comfort and safety during examinations.

Requirements
- Licensed in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with certification in MRI by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or certification in MRI by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) is required.
- If the OBMI license is in transition of renewal, certification may need to be verified by the appropriate national agency: ARRT, ARDMS, ARMRIT, CCI, or NMTCB.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start.
Pay
Salary range: $45.26 - $62.24 per hour.
- $2.02 extra for working between 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
- $4.50 extra for working between 11:01 pm - 7:00 am.
- $1.87 extra for working weekends.
