MRI Tech Assistant - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Avoids patient flow by assisting MRI and CT Techs
• Communicates with patients and prepares them for the exam
• Coordinates patient film and reports
• Stocks supplies
• Completes On-Site MRI Safety Training
• Aware of MR Safety screening questions
• Performs duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment

Requirements

• Able to work rotating Saturdays from 7:30am-10:00am or 7:30am-3:00pm (evening coverage available 5:00pm-8:30pm)
• Excellent communication skills
• Medical office experience a plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
• Enrollment in a formal Radiologic Tech or MRI Tech program is a real plus
