About the Role
The Chief Technologist will report to the Director of Radiology and manage the daily operations of the Radiology MRI Department, including technical services. This role involves performing MRI procedures, serving as the MR Safety Officer (MRSO), ensuring appropriate documentation and reporting, and promoting teamwork across the healthcare team. All duties align with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Radiology MRI Department.
- Perform MRI procedures.
- Serve as the MR Safety Officer (MRSO).
- Ensure appropriate documentation and reporting.
- Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiology or MRI.
- ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
