About the role
This will be a PRN, temporary position at Methodist Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care duties for designated imaging patients.
- Perform procedures and provide personal care.
- Ensure the surroundings are clean, orderly, and well-stocked.
Requirements
- Imaging student actively enrolled in an accredited imaging program.
- Basic Life Support certification, required.
- Active Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) Radiology Student Permit, if applicable.
- Knowledge of RIS for training and problem resolution.
- Knowledge of PACS for training and problem resolution.
- Knowledge of principles of good personal hygiene and aseptic techniques.
- Good communication skills and public relations skills.
- The knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and developmental level of the patients served.
- Able to set priorities and manage a high workload within limited time for completion.
- Able to observe patients and report any changes to the technologist.
- Able to organize tasks.
