Responsibilities
- Ensure patients are scheduled for their MRI appointments promptly and efficiently
- Meticulously record all relevant health history information for each patient
- Pre-authorize all procedures to guarantee insurance coverage is accurately in place
Requirements
- Proficiency in using medical office scheduling and billing software
- Strong telephone and computer skills for effective communication
- The ability to efficiently organize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Experience in medical office assistance, MRI scheduling, or pre-authorization is preferred
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
