MRI Patient Registration - Part Time

As a member of our MRI Patient Registration team, you will be the first and last interaction that each patient will have during their visit to ORA's Imaging Center.

Schedule

Part Time: Monday through Thursday, 4:00pm - 8:00pm

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth MRI front-office operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting patients politely, promptly, and warmly
• Conducting patient check-ins
• Updating patient and insurance information
• Verifying insurance eligibility
• Collecting payments
• Maintaining a clean, professional waiting area
• Preparing paperwork for upcoming appointments
• Assisting patients with completing paperwork
• Addressing patient questions
• Scanning and attaching reports to the patient's electronic medical record
• Patient check-outs
• Scheduling follow-up appointments
• Handling patient phone calls
• Performing closing office duties

ORA holds all our staff members accountable for providing high-level care, maintaining patient confidentiality, and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience in a medical office is preferred
• Strong understanding of customer service principles
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accurately
