About the Role
The MRI imaging aide supports the radiology team by assisting technologists during MRI exams.
Responsibilities
- Assist MRI technologists with patient preparations, safety screening, and equipment setup.
- Help schedule patients, maximize room turnaround, and assist with patient transfers.
- Deliver MRI-safe supplies and update families on patient status during scans involving anesthesia.
- Maintain equipment sanitation and in-room supplies.
- Support transport tasks and interact with patients and families with strong communication skills.
- Perform duties across various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS certification upon hire.
- Preferred: Minimum six months pediatric experience.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to operate RIS, PACS, CR, and CD burner efficiently.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and multitasking capabilities.
