Join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless patient experiences and the efficient operation of our clinic.

About the Role

This is a full-time, onsite closing position. Candidates must be available to work until 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Travel is required between the Broomfield and Boulder locations. The anticipated start date is September 28, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
  • Check patients in and out while collecting required documentation, demographic information, and co-payments.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Schedule MRI appointments by phone and in person using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling based on provider availability and patient preferences.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records to support efficient clinic operations.
  • Communicate with providers, technologists, and staff regarding imaging orders and patient scheduling needs.
  • Answer routine, non-medical questions and provide clear instructions to patients.
  • Explain financial responsibilities, including co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance, and collect payments as required.
  • Maintain clean, organized reception, waiting, and common areas.
  • Open and close the office as assigned.
  • Help ensure efficient patient flow and communicate delays to patients and clinical staff.
  • Protect patient privacy by following HIPAA requirements and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Follow all clinic safety, security, and organizational policies.
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and distributing office supplies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, coworkers, and providers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MRI-Specific Responsibilities

  • Verify patient demographics and obtain required signatures on consent forms, medical histories, and other documentation.
  • Prepare patient files for MRI Technologists.
  • Occasionally assist MRI Technologists with patient positioning during diagnostic procedures.
  • Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations when required, and educate patients regarding deductibles and coinsurance.
  • Process MRI claims for reimbursement following completed procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of customer service or receptionist experience, preferably in a medical office.
  • Experience using multi-line telephone systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide compassionate, professional customer service to patients and coworkers.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to de-escalate difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and electronic medical record (EMR) or practice management software.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Availability to work the closing shift until 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay

$18–$26 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time, onsite; Monday–Friday, with shifts ending at 8:00 PM.
