MRF Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly employees across assigned shifts
• Maintain safe, efficient, and reliable production by overseeing personnel, equipment, and material flow
• Monitor equipment performance, material flow, and production quality
• Enforce safety standards and respond to incidents
• Manage staffing levels, break schedules, and rotation plans
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and minimize downtime
• Communicate shift performance and key issues to management

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, recycling, or similar fields
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong safety awareness and decision-making ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
• PREFERRED: MRF or recycling facility experience
• PREFERRED: 2+ years operating light to heavy equipment
