MRD Clinical Account Executive, San Diego/North Phoenix

This role supports revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution in the pharmaceuticals and biotech space. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes, strengthening market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption of MRD testing services within academic medical centers and community practices
• Engage with KOLs and decision-makers to establish and expand business opportunities
• Develop strategic client acquisition and retention plans, maximizing contracting opportunities
• Implement laboratory services agreements with opting institutions for client billing
• Collaborate with sales roles across the company to achieve company objectives
• Identify partnerships between oncology clients and the company for MRD testing integration
• Provide market analysis feedback to the company leadership based on assigned accounts
• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan, managing budgets and goals

Requirements

• B.S. in life science, biology, business, or marketing; MBA preferred
• 3+ years of direct account management experience in molecular diagnostics, MRD testing preferred
• Proven track record of revenue generation in diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sectors
• Experience working with major cancer centers, oncology GPOs, large health systems, and oncology practices
• Proficient with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, project management, and prioritization skills
• Independent work ethic with advanced presentation skills

Pay

$95,000 – $150,000 annually
