MRB Design Engineer - V - Tulsa
Key Responsibilities
Lead resolution of critical and highly complex MRB issues
Develop advanced repair methodologies and engineering standards
Serve as technical authority for customers, leadership, and regulators
Influence program strategy, risk mitigation, and compliance frameworks
Represent the organization in high-level technical engagements
Drive innovation in MRB processes, tools, and capabilities
Mentor senior engineers and shape technical direction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural Engineering, or related discipline (ABET preferred)
- 14+ years aerospace/MRB experience (commercial or military)
- Engineering degree must be ABET-accredited and recognized under the Washington Accord
- Previously held MRB signing authority or delegated technical approval within the past 3–5 years (preferred)
- Experience supporting Boeing commercial aircraft programs, particularly 737 and/or 787, or similar aircraft platforms
- Strong understanding of metallic and composite structures
- Solid knowledge of material properties, manufacturing methods, and their impact on aircraft performance
- Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Working knowledge of SAP NCMS or similar nonconformance management systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with CATIA V5 for drawing/model interrogation (preferred)
- Prior DOA experience, concessions training, TIPQA, or equivalent exposure is a plus
