MR Journeyman

About the role

The Machine Repair Journeyman serves as the subject matter expert for the repair of Individual Section (IS) machinery, ensuring the upkeep and repair of parts and machinery on shift.

Responsibilities

• Repair and work on IS forming machinery
• Work on warehousing and stacking machinery
• Build and repair parts for all machinery
• Complete shop job changes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain Forklift Operator License
• Effective communication skills
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours
• Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds

Qualifications

• Journeyman card or equivalent experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Pay

$43.24 per hour (starting rate; future increases dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement).
