MR Fusion Specialist/MRI Technologist/Ultrasound Technologist

About the role

United Medical Systems seeks a MR Fusion Specialist (Radiologic Technologist, MRI/CT Tech, or Ultrasound Tech) to travel to assigned hospitals and support urologists during MR Fusion Prostate Biopsy procedures. The role involves delivering equipment, obtaining MRI mappings, providing technical and clinical support during procedures, and independently managing logistical and clinical needs for a regional route. Extensive training on the fusion device and ultrasound is provided.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with urology offices to confirm upcoming schedule
• Obtain MRI mappings from radiology teams (remotely via the Cloud)
• Travel to facilities to deliver the MR Fusion equipment prior to procedure days
• Provide technical and clinical support to urologists during MR Fusion biopsies, including fusing MRI mapping to live ultrasound and navigating in a 3D environment
• Oversee logistical and clinical needs for assigned route
• Some overnight travel may be required

Requirements

• Experience as an MRI, Ultrasound, or Radiologic Technologist/Interventional professional
• Ability to work independently and manage travel logistics
• Willingness to travel to various hospitals within an assigned region

Pay

• Guaranteed 80 hours per pay period (two‑week pay periods)
• Paid training in advanced mobile lithotripsy/fusion systems
• Travel expenses and hotel stays reimbursed
