MPC Social Media Work Study Assistant

Job Summary/Basic Function

We are looking for a Social Media Assistant for the Master of Professional Communication program at Weber State University to support the management and execution of social media strategies for the MPC program. This role involves content creation, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement across various platforms to enhance the program’s online presence and foster meaningful interactions with its target audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and a passion for digital marketing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management while helping grow the MPC program’s visibility.

Required Qualifications

• Must have submitted their FAFSA
• Must be work-study eligible (this unfortunately disqualifies International students)
• Must be an MPC student

Preferred Qualifications

• Ogden Peak Communications experience preferred or related experience
• Social Media Design
