MP&P Technical Analyst 2 (contract)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated technician to join our composite material and structural bonding laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks ranging from tool preparation, prepreg lay-up, bonding, machining, mechanical testing, photography, and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of tasks ranging from tool preparation, prepreg lay-up, bonding, machining, mechanical testing, photography, and assembly.
• Use a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, equipment, and measuring instruments.
• Read and work in accordance with visual aids, work instructions, and process specifications.
• Commit to team goals; be flexible in your day-to-day work assignment; help coordinate team communication; and participate in process improvement/lean best practices implementation.
• Show a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and strict adherence to engineering and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to troubleshoot minor hardware and software issues independently.
• Experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Trade school or students preferred.

Skills

The role requires the ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, equipment, and measuring instruments. It also requires the ability to read and work in accordance with visual aids, work instructions, and process specifications.
